Built for the rest of us.
Not the high-performers. Not the productivity obsessives. The people who want to change — and keep getting in their own way.
We got tired of quitting.
We built habits. We broke them. We started over. We tried every app on the market — the streak trackers, the gamified ones, the ones with aggressive reminders and red X's that made us feel like failures by Wednesday.
The problem wasn't willpower. The problem was that every tracker was designed for the person who never misses a day — not the person trying to become that person.
So we read everything: Atomic Habits, Tiny Habits, The Power of Habit. We talked to behavioral scientists. We interviewed people who had actually built lasting habits — and the ones who kept failing.
The science was clear: guilt and perfectionism are the enemies of consistency. Identity is the engine. Recovery — not perfection — is what separates people who build habits from people who don't.
What we believe
Three principles guide everything we build.
Forgiveness over punishment
Missing a day is not failure. It's human. The question is what you do next. We built Never Miss Twice because recovery — not perfection — is what matters.
Identity over outcomes
You don't rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems. We help you build the identity first — the results follow naturally.
Tiny over epic
The 2-minute version counts. Showing up imperfectly beats not showing up at all. We're building systems for life, not sprints to a deadline.
“You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”
— James Clear, Atomic Habits
Pebble is that system. We built it around every principle in the science of behavior change — and we keep building it, one feature at a time, around what actually helps people.
The team
Pebble is a small, independent team. We don't have a VC-funded growth machine behind us. We have a shared belief: that the best tools are built by people who needed them first.
We answer every support email. We read every App Store review. When something isn't working, we fix it. That's the whole model.
